Horses have no hidden agenda! The extrodinary benefits of equine assisted activities and therapeutic riding offer individuals a wide range of knowledge, experience, compassion and inspiration.
Riding isn't just for the body... it's for the brain as well. The chance to spend time with a horse motivates many people to learn new things, especially people who feel they have come up against a wall and need a new approach.
Riding is also for the heart. Riders can experience the sensation of being in control and of independent motion, for many this is the first time in their lives. From this experience, they gain confidence in themselves, build relationships with the horse, the instructors and peers. All sessions focus on what the student can do, not what hey can't do.
We have programs available for:
Children, age 3 and above
People who do not like exercise
Therapists (psychological and social workers) who work with clients in a special setting
Medical professionals working with clients on Post Traumatic Stress Syndrom and Occupational Therapy
The horse serve as the motivator.
